I tested both the RXT and the 250x within an hour of each other and I only needed to ride the RXT about 5 mins to make my buying decision, 250X all the way. The RXT in terms of handling didn't feel any different than the 2001 Sea Doo GTS I've had for 4 years. We live on a large busy lake with concrete bulkheads so the waves take forever to disapate, creating 3-4' swells and lots of slop. The 250X cuts right through it all with confidence at wide open throttle. I raced a RXT 3 times from rolling start and dead stop and beat it each time by 5-6 boat lengths. The same guy came back an hour later with a new RXP and said now I'll get you, and still, the results were the same, and I had a passenger this time. I haven't had it long enough to know reliability, good so far. About the only thing I can't pass is a gas station, she's thirsty!
